Most of the nationalities need to apply for a temporary or tourist visa if they wish to travel to Mexico, but certain nationalities Such as US citizens are not required to apply for any kind of Visa. A tourist visa is issued for the period of 30 to 60 days and the verification process time would vary depending on the nationality and time of the application. Some of the documents that need to be submitted to the relevant authorities include

1) Valid Passport

2) The application form

3) Proof of Finance (Bank Statements, tax documents etc.)

In addition to the documents listed above the embassy also holds the right to ask for other documentation if they feel the verification of such documents is necessary.
